Born in Amasya in 1988, Ali Avcı completed his undergraduate education at Marmara University. He began his academic career as a research assistant at Hakkari University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. During this period, he received foreign language education at Akdeniz University for one year and participated in language education programs in Malta.

Completing his master’s and doctoral studies at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Avcı focused his master’s studies on thermal barrier coatings and his doctoral studies on composite materials. Currently serving as an associate professor at Hakkari University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Avcı continues his academic studies in the fields of materials science, coating technologies, tribology, and advanced engineering materials. Serving as an advisory board member within the scope of TEKNOFEST, Avcı takes an active role, particularly in clean and wastewater-themed field studies and events; he also supports student and project teams with his academic consultancy activities.
