Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır was born in Aksaray in 1992. In 2010, after graduating from Meram Science High School, she graduated from Bilkent University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department with a comprehensive scholarship. During her undergraduate education, she was the president of the Robotics Club. In 2015, she graduated from her undergraduate education with High Honor. She continued her master's degree in the same department of the same university. In this process, she was entitled to receive Techno-Initiative Capital Support from the Ministry of Industry and Technology and received a TÜBİTAK domestic graduate scholarship. In 2017, she graduated from her master's degree with High Honor. In the same year, she started her PhD education as a research assistant in ITU Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. In this process, she was awarded a TÜBİTAK domestic doctoral scholarship. She completed her PhD on Unique Indis Modulation Solutions for Reconfigurable Smart Surface Assisted Communication Systems. She has been involved in various research projects and has publications in international academic journals and conferences.
Since 2018, Dr. Kuzucu Hıdır has taken active roles in technological development and youth initiatives within the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), particularly leading efforts in the TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions. As a Steering Committee Member of DENEYAP Turkiye, she contributes to the strategic orientation of educational and competency-building programs designed to nurture young technological innovators.
A Member of the T3 Foundation Board of Trustees since 2022, Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır has been serving as the Chairperson of the Board and General Manager of the T3 Foundation since July 2023. Additionally, she has served as a Board Member of the Turkish Space Agency (TUA) since February 2024.
She is married and has one child.
