TEKNOFEST 2023, held in the 100th year of our Republic, first took place in Istanbul from April 27th to May 1st. TEKNOFEST, which set new records with 2,547,000 visitors, offered an unforgettable journey filled with science, technology, and space to its visitors through technology competitions, entrepreneurship programs, breathtaking air shows, award ceremonies, 'Your Stage' events, educational workshops, exhibitions, stage performances, special flight experiences for children, and a variety of other exciting activities. The 5-day festival at Istanbul Atatürk Airport concluded on May 1st, leaving behind moments of excitement and pride.
The second festival of TEKNOFEST 2023 was held in Ankara from August 30th to September 3rd, hosting 943,000 visitors at Etimesgut Airport. In TEKNOFEST Ankara, the TEKNOFEST Entrepreneurship Competition and the first-ever Deneyap Kart Robolig Competition were held. The festival lasted for 5 days and featured various events such as concerts by Mazhar Alanson and Tuluyhan Uğurlu, thematic exhibition areas, air shows, a vertical wind tunnel, educational workshops, play areas, a pedal flight activity, and the 'First Flight with Students,' contributing to one of the largest events in Ankara's history.
Continuing its magnificent journey after TEKNOFEST Istanbul and Ankara, the world's largest Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival is coming to Izmir, the pearl of the Aegean. The third and final destination of the festival, which was held in our country's three major cities in the 100th year of the Republic, will be Izmir. The festival will take place from September 27th to October 1st, 2023. TEKNOFEST Izmir, with its vision of a "National Technology Initiative" for a fully independent Turkey, will once again carry the enthusiasm and excitement to the skies.
Countdown has begun for TEKNOFEST Izmir, which will be held at Çiğli Airport for 5 exciting days, featuring technology and entrepreneurship competitions, air shows, exhibitions of air and ground vehicles, educational workshop activities, a vertical wind tunnel, simulation experience areas, the "Refik Anadol Machine Memories: Space" Exhibition, planetarium shows, stage performances, and various activities!
In addition, Deneyap Idea Marathon and Deneyap Makeathon, as well as the Take Off Entrepreneurship Summit Pre-Events, will continue to contribute to the National Technology Initiative in Izmir.
