Hyperloop Development Competition | TEKNOFEST

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Hyperloop Development Competition is organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions.

The Hyperloop Development Competition, is a technology-oriented competition designed to facilitate the development of various magnetic levitation and propulsion systems. Through this initiative, it is aimed to advance fifth-generation innovative transportation technologies at the university level and to cultivate a qualified workforce in this field. Additionally, the competition seeks to enhance the feasibility and practical application of next-generation transportation technologies on a global scale.

Associate, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students studying in Turkey and abroad can participate in the competition as a team.

In 2026, the competition will be held in three different categories:
  • Performance Category
  • Technology Demonstration Category
  • Defined Problem Solving Category

Special awards are also given within the scope of the competition. The team that successfully demonstrates levitation using steel systems will receive the "Steel Levitation Award", while the team that meets the special criteria set by the technical board will be awarded the "Board Special Award".

TEKNOFEST STARTUP PROGRAM

The TEKNOFEST Startup Program, organized under the leadership of the T3 Startup Center, is designed for TEKNOFEST finalists at the university level and beyond. The program offers participants 11 different opportunities, including entrepreneurship training and investor meetings.

As part of the National Technology Teams Support Program, led by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, teams will receive guidance on international competitions, as well as material support and transportation/accommodation assistance.
