The aim of the Mixed Swarm Simulation is to develop software and algorithms for the success of defined missions. This is to be done with more than one unmanned air vehicle and unmanned ground vehicle (UAV and UGV) under optimized target criteria by task sharing, backup and the different vehicles working in concert with one another.
Disaster and pandemic scenarios have been simulated within the scope of the competition. Using swarm systems, teams need to deliver health services to the patients in a city as fast as possible.
Scenario
A pandemic has been declared in the world and the number of cases has gradually increased within the borders of our country.
All institutions and organizations are working with all their strength to minimize the pandemic’s effect and fight the disease. It has been decided that a swarm of UAV and UGVs will be used for aid.
Mission Demonstration
A swarm of UAVs and UGVs will serve in the mission environment.
The patient density map and patient status information regarding the mission environment should be shared with the Swarm UAV and UGV control center instantly.
Based on this information, it will be ensured that UAVs and UGVs reach and serve the most people in the shortest amount of time to limit the infection rate of the pandemic.
