TEKNOFEST TRNC
TEKNOFEST is the world’s largest aerospace and technology festival, playing a critical role in the development of national technology in Türkiye and organized in partnership with numerous institutions.
The world’s largest aerospace, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST, concluded this year with a spectacular finale in Adana. Over the course of five days, technology and innovation enthusiasts came together, and thousands of young people left their mark on the future with their projects.
The final festival of TEKNOFEST 2023 took place at Çiğli Airport, hosting 1,100,000 visitors. TEKNOFEST İzmir featured special events for Deneyap Technology Workshop students, including the Deneyap IdeaThon and Deneyap Makeathon Competitions. Additionally, the TEKNOFEST Startup Competition and the Pre-Take Off were successfully concluded.
The second festival of TEKNOFEST 2023 took place at Etimesgut Airport. In TEKNOFEST Ankara, which hosted 943,000 thousand visitors, TEKNOFEST Startup Competition and Deneyap Kart Robolig Competition were held for the first time in TEKNOFEST.
TEKNOFEST 2023, organized on the 100th anniversary of our Republic, was held at Atatürk Airport with 2 million 547 thousand visitors. 337,744 teams and 1,000,000+ competitors from 81 provinces and 100 countries applied to the technology competitions organized in 44 different categories at TEKNOFEST Istanbul.
In 2022, 40 different technology competitions on the focus areas of the future were held within the scope of TEKNOFEST Black Sea, which took place in the Black Sea Region centered on Samsun Çarşamba Airport. More than 154,000 teams and more than 600,000 competitors from 81 provinces and 107 countries applied to these competitions.
In 2022, 10 different technology competitions were organized at TEKNOFEST, which went beyond the borders of the country and took place abroad for the first time in Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan, and 1,010 teams and 5,636 competitors applied for these competitions.
44,912 teams and 200,000 competitors from 81 provinces and 111 countries applied to the technology competitions organized in 35 different categories within the scope of TEKNOFEST Aerpspace and Technology Festival, which was held for the fourth time at Atatürk Airport in 2021.
20,197 teams and 100,000 young people from 81 provinces and 84 countries applied to the technology competitions organized in 21 different categories within the scope of TEKNOFEST, hosted by Gaziantep Ortadoğu Fuar Merkezi in 2020.

Bringing the spirit of the National Technology Move to the Mediterranean, TEKNOFEST 2024 took place at Adana Şakirpaşa Airport from October 2-6, 2024. This prestigious event, which hosted technology enthusiasts, welcomed 1.1 million visitors.

TEKNOFEST 2024, with its traditional events and groundbreaking innovations, secured a special place in the hearts of attendees. TEKNOFEST Adana, which brought together hundreds of thousands of visitors, created unforgettable experiences through its technology competitions, breathtaking aerial displays, exhibition stands, stage shows, simulation zones, planetarium, educational workshops, and exhibitions.
Young Innovators Shaping the Future
With the motto "You Are the Future," more than 1.65 million young people from 100 countries participated in TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions, which were held in 50 main categories and 128 subcategories. Young innovators developed projects in various fields, ranging from biotechnology to air defense systems, rockets to educational technologies. High-performing teams in prestigious competitions were awarded a total of 31 million TRY in prizes and 55 million TRY in material support.
TEKNOFEST Mediterranean Featured Exciting Firsts!
TEKNOFEST Mediterranean introduced many new innovations this year. Young participants competed in 11 new categories, ranging from Large Language Models to Nuclear Energy Technologies, shaping the future of technology. The challenging missions in the Combat UAV, Rocket, and Vertical Takeoff and Landing Rocket Competitions were successfully completed by teams for the first time. Future technology leaders achieved significant success on the path of the National Technology Move!
This year, for the first time, advanced technology and systems-equipped Ejder Yalçın, Vuran, and Kirpi vehicles performed at the Moving Ground Vehicles Track. The domestically produced Bayraktar TB3 and Anka 3 drones made their public debut flights. All these special moments and more were experienced by 1.1 million visitors.
