The Climate Change Research Projects Competition, organized as part of TEKNOFEST, is one of the most prominent competitions, aiming to raise awareness among high school students in Türkiye about climate change. Beyond increasing awareness, the competition encourages young people to engage in research on the sustainable use of natural resources, foster public consciousness, and develop innovative solutions to mitigate the negative effects of climate change. Participants are invited to submit creative projects in six main categories: Environment, Economic Sectors, Weather & Climate, Water Research, Sustainability & Well-being, and Social Awareness.
In the High School Students Climate Change Research Projects Competition, winners in all categories will be awarded TRY 70,000 for first place, TRY 60,000 for second place, and TRY 50,000 for third place.
