The main purpose of the Swarm UAV Competition organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST is to develop software algorithms for the creation of UAVs that can perform defined missions in swarms, and to demonstrate the success of these algorithms in a physical environment with Swarm UAVs. With the competition organized for Swarm UAVs, which have the potential to radically change both our daily lives and defense strategies, it is aimed to contribute to the development of this technology.
Swarm UAV is Used in Many Areas from Military Operations to Forest Fires
UAVs, which can be controlled autonomously or semi-autonomously, are in constant communication with each other, perform their missions as a whole, and have different sizes and capabilities, are used in very important areas ranging from military operations to intervention in forest fires. Undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students and graduates can participate in the competition where talented young people who will change the rules of the sky will make a difference. In the competition, which will provide a total cash prize of 625 thousand TL, teams will also be provided with material support to realize their projects. The application deadline for participation in the competition continues until February 20.
