TEKNOFEST Team ITU Vefa Aviation Ranked 1st in the Spaceport America Cup'24 Rocket Competition!
The ITU VEFA Aviation Team, champions of TEKNOFEST, also achieved championship in the rocket competition held in the USA. The ITU Vefa Aviation Team, founded by the students of The Foundation for the Expansion of Knowledge won the first prize in the 10,000 feet category at the Spaceport America Cup '24 Rocket Competition, where 152 teams from 20 different countries competed.
Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the TEKNOFEST Board of Directors, congratulated the young people who honored our flag at the competition in America with a post on his social media account saying, "You are legends. Congratulations... From roots to the skies. TEKNOFEST generation."
