Vertical Landing Rocket Competition

About the Competition

Within the scope of the Vertical Landing Rocket Competition, Competitors are expected to design a rocket with an aerial suspension system (e.g. crane) to be provided by the Competition Committee and to land the rocket on the ground in a controlled manner using a cold gas propulsion system following the release of the rocket.

The competition is open to associate, bachelor's, and postgraduate students and/or graduates studying in Türkiye or abroad. Teams must consist of a minimum of four (4) and a maximum of ten (10) members.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows:
  • Preliminary Design Report (PDR)
  • Critical Design Report (CDR)
  • Launch Preparation Report (LPR)

    Templates for the reports that competitors must prepare will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website soon.
