Unmanned Surface Vehicle Competition

About the Competition

In today's world, research and development efforts for maritime exploration and defense needs are rapidly advancing using high autonomy technology in both civilian and military applications. The Unmanned Surface Vehicle Competition is organized with the aim of leading the development of unique vehicles nationwide by spreading the design, analysis, production, and improvement of remotely controlled and/or autonomously performing maritime vehicles that successfully accomplish given mission scenarios.

The competition consists of two main tasks:

. Obstacle Avoidance Task
. Port Berthing Mission

University and above students studying in Türkiye and abroad can participate in the competition. Participants can form teams consisting of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 15 individuals.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows;

In order to support the projects of thousands of young people, a total of over 55 million TL in material support is provided to the teams that pass the stages determined for the competitions.

TRANSPORTATION / ACCOMODATION SUPPORT
Transportation / Accomodation support is provided to the finalist teams for their competitions.

AWARDS
Prizes of over 30 Million TL are waiting for the teams that compete and qualify in TEKNOFEST 2024.

EDUCATION

TRAINING CAMP PROGRAM
Training programs will be organized for the finalist teams with the participation of the executive institution and advisory board members.

Q&A MEETÇINGS
Teams with the participation of the executive and advisory board members Meetings where projects, evaluation criteria and processes can direct questions to the advisory board will be planned.

Internship opportunities in Turkey's technology institutions will be provided.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
