About the Competition


Unmanned Surface Vehicle Competition is organised within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions.

Unmanned Surface Vehicle technologies are used and developed for various purposes in civil and military fields, and the competition aims to encourage original projects in the design and production of these vehicles. The Unmanned Surface Vehicle Competition aims for the teams to successfully fulfil the specified tasks with the prototypes they have developed. The competition includes point tracking and kamikaze engagement missions.

University students (associate degree, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, doctorate) can participate in the competition as a team. Competitors can participate in teams of minimum 3 and maximum 15 people.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows;
  • Technical Qualification Form
  • Critical Design Report
  • Autonomous Capability Demonstration Video
  • Final Phase
Templates for the reports to be prepared by the competitors will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website at a later date.

Training programs will be organized for the finalist teams with the participation of the executive institution and advisory board members.

Teams with the participation of the executive and advisory board members Meetings where projects, evaluation criteria and processes can direct questions to the advisory board will be planned.

Internship opportunities in Turkey's technology institutions will be provided.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
