About the Competition
The purpose of this competition is to encourage the development of technology-based solutions aimed at preventing addiction, identifying risks early, strengthening psychological resilience, and developing support mechanisms; to enable young people to develop technology in the field of addiction, to bring together the science of addiction and the technology ecosystem, to combine Yeşilay’s expertise with young people’s innovative projects, and to contribute to the development of technology solutions that are implementable and scalable in the future. High school students studying in Turkey or abroad, open high school students, and students who have graduated within the last three years may participate in the competition as teams. Teams must consist of at least 4 and no more than 9 members.
The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows:
- Project Preliminary Evaluation Report (PER)
- Project Presentation (Semifinal)
- Prototype and Final Presentations
Templates for the reports that participants are required to prepare will be announced at a later date on the TEKNOFEST website.
