Robotaxi Full-Scale Autonomous Vehicle Competition

About the Competition

Robotaxi Full-Scale Autonomous Vehicle Competition is organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions.
 
The goal of the Robotaxi-Full Scale Autonomous Vehicle Competition is to encourage participants to gain competence in the field of autonomous vehicle technologies, original design, algorithm and reporting.

High school, associate, undergraduate, and postgraduate students as well as graduates can participate as a team. Teams consisting of high school and university students and above will compete in the same category. Participation from the private sector is not possible.

The competition consists of two categories. In the Unique Vehicle Category, teams participate in the competition by making whole vehicle production and software. In the Ready Vehicle Category, teams run their software on autonomous vehicle platforms provided by TEKNOFEST. 

In the final phase of the competition, teams will be expected to perform various tasks autonomously in a real racetrack environment that is valid for both categories mentioned above. The main purpose of the competition is to develop autonomous driving algorithms.

Within the scope of the competition, teams are required to prepare for 3 different stages: Technical Qualification Form (TQF), Critical Design Report (CDR), Vehicle Test Video & Simulation Report and Presentation. According to the results of the Test Video and Simulation Report and Presentation, the teams that are eligible to participate in the final will be announced.

NOTE: Teams participating in the Efficiency Electric Vehicle Challenge Competition can also compete in this category. However, they have to apply separately via the link below.

The templates for the reports that the competitors need to prepare will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website soon.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
