antum Technologies Competition is organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions.
The Quantum Technologies Competition, organised as part of TEKNOFEST, aims to guide young scientist candidates towards quantum technologies and encourage them to gain knowledge and skills in this field. The competition contributes to the development of participants' strategic thinking and collaboration skills, as well as their technical skills. It also supports the spread of quantum awareness in society, brings together young people interested in this field to share their experiences, and supports the creation of a sustainable quantum ecosystem in Türkiye.
The competition will be held in two categories:
Hardware Category
It is a quantum technology competition that aims to develop hardware and control–readout infrastructures capable of performing real-time measurements, calibration, and performance analysis on superconducting quantum processors, where participants gain hands-on experience in experimental processes ranging from transmon qubit design to T₁, T₂, and gate fidelity measurements conducted on dilution refrigerator systems.
Undergraduate and graduate students studying in Türkiye and abroad are eligible to participate. Teams in the category consist of a minimum of 3 (three) and a maximum of 5 (five) members. Teams may optionally add 1 person as an advisor to support their team members.
The Hardware Category consists of the Preliminary Stage, Training Stage, and Final Stage.
