International Electric Vehicle Races | TEKNOFEST

About the Competition

The aim of the International Electric Vehicle Competition is for teams to design and develop their electric vehicles in accordance with specified technical requirements and demonstrate their performance on the race track. Within the scope of the competition, the technical infrastructure, safety, control systems and driving capabilities of the vehicles are evaluated.

The competition is open to teams comprising secondary school, undergraduate and graduate students for the electric vehicle category, and undergraduate and graduate students for the hydro vehicle category. Teams must consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 25 members, and each team must have an advisor, team captain, driver and reserve driver.
The evaluation stages of the race are as follows:

  • Submission of Team Development and Technological Maturity Assessment Videos

  • Technical Design Report

  • Technical Approval Video

  • Final Race

Details regarding the reports and videos that competitors must prepare will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website.
