HackMasters Competition is organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions.
HackMasters is an international cyber security competition where the participants' theoretical knowledge in the field of cyber security is measured along with their practical application skills.
The competition mainly measures skills in areas such as cryptography, reverse engineering, malware, web security, web security, forensics, open source intelligence, mobile security, IoT security and artificial intelligence.
All high school and university students and graduates studying in Türkiye and abroad can participate in the competition. Companies or startups at the graduate level can apply as a team. Competitors will be able to participate in teams of at least 2 and at most 4 people.
All stages of the competition will be held in Turkish. However, foreign language content may also be available in the resources. The Semi-Final stage will be held in August 2025 in a cloud-based online Jeopardy CTF format with different difficulty levels. Semi-final questions can be solved with team members or individually, and will be entered into the system by the Team Captain on behalf of the team. Teams that are successful in the Semi-Final stage will be invited to the final stage, which will take place in September 2025 with physical participation.
In the final stage, the competitors will carry out analysis and analysis studies on original cyber incident scenarios prepared in different topics and difficulty levels, and as a result of the evaluation to be made by the technical committee of the competition, the best three teams that make the most progress in the fastest time will be awarded.
All official notifications regarding the competition will be made before and after the stage in the announcements section of the HackMasters
website or to the e-mail addresses of the competitors registered on the
website.
