FPV Drone Tracking Competition the primary aim of the is to evaluate the image-based perception, decision-making, and dynamic target tracking capabilities of developed autonomous aerial vehicles within a realistic mission scenario. The competition focuses on successfully tracking a moving target using image processing and autonomous control algorithms, particularly without the use of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).
In this context, teams are expected to develop systems that can autonomously track a moving target drone without GNSS data. The competition aims to develop teams' capabilities in advanced target tracking, frame centering, lost target reacquisition, and dynamic flight performance in unmanned systems.
The competition is open to university students (associate degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctoral degree) studying in Türkiye and abroad, graduates, and private sector teams participating as teams. Teams must consist of at least 4 and no more than 10 members, including the advisor.
