About the Competition

Flying Car Simulation Competition encourages participants to fulfil the tasks of autonomous flight simulation, strategic control systems design and evaluating the performance of flying vehicles through various scenarios and simulations. Competitors are expected to present and simulate innovative solutions for future air transport by demonstrating their skills in developing autonomous flight algorithms, designing strategic control systems and producing effective solutions in specified scenarios.

High school, university (associate, undergraduate and postgraduate) students and graduates can apply to the Flying Car Simulation Competition. Competitors can apply individualy or as a team. Companies or initiatives can apply for the graduate level as a team.
The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows:
  • Preliminary Design Report (PDR) and Preliminary Evidence Video
  • Final Design Report (FTR) and Final Evidence Video
There are two categories in the competition:
  • High School Category
  • University and Above Category
Templates for the reports required from competitors will be announced later on the TEKNOFEST website or through communication channels.
