High School Students Polar Research Projects Competition

About the Competition

The aim of the competition is to encourage high school students to study polar sciences in the Antarctic and Arctic regions and to contribute to our country's leading position in international scientific circles in the future by enabling them to conduct qualified research in this field.


All high school students studying in Türkiye and TRNC can participate in the competition.

The evaluation process consists of 2 stages.
  • First Stage Evaluation (Preliminary Review)
  • Second Phase Evaluation

Competition includes 4 main themes:
  • Life Sciences
  • Physical Sciences
  • Social Sciences and Humanities
  • Earth Sciences
