The purpose of this competition is to encourage the development of technology-based solutions aimed at preventing addiction, identifying risks early, strengthening psychological resilience, and developing support mechanisms; to enable young people to develop technology in the field of addiction, to bring together the science of addiction and the technology ecosystem, to combine Yeşilay’s expertise with young people’s innovative projects, and to contribute to the development of technology solutions that are implementable and scalable in the future. The competition is open to teams consisting of Turkish citizens or foreign nationals enrolled in high school (whether in traditional or open education programs) in Turkey or abroad, students enrolled in associate’s or bachelor’s degree programs at universities, and individuals who have graduated from high school or university within the last three years. Teams must consist of at least 4 and no more than 9 members (the advisor is not included in the team count).
