Along with the TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland Tug of War and TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland Heaving Line Throwing competitions running throughout the four days, the TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland Dragon Boat Rowing Race on August 22 and 23 will boost the adrenaline in the Blue Homeland.
Featuring fierce battles between teams on a 90-meter rope, the struggle to hit targets with a 30-meter heaving line, and breathtaking races by dragon boat teams along a 300-meter course, victory will be determined not just by strength alone, but by harmony, technique, speed, and team spirit. In the Blue Homeland, ropes will stretch, targets will be hit, and oars will row to the exact same rhythm.

Expected to be one of the most competitive events at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, the Tug of War Competition will take place every day for four days between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. A total of 15 teams will participate, putting forth all their strength to pull a 90-meter, 3-strand rope to their side. Highlighting team spirit and physical endurance, the winner will be determined not only by sheer force, but by synchronized collective action.
One of the most essential practices of maritime tradition, heaving line throwing turns into an athletic competition at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland. Held daily from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM over four days, 15 teams will participate in the event. Competitors will hurl a 30-meter heaving line toward the target area, where balance, technical skill, accuracy, and precise timing will play decisive roles in their success.
One of the most colorful aquatic battles of TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland will be the TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland Dragon Boat Rowing Competition. Taking place on August 22–23 between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, 13 teams will compete. Each team will consist of 10 athletes rowing along a 300-meter course to reach the finish line in the shortest time possible. Dragon boat racing is a sport that emphasizes team spirit, coordination, solidarity, and determination over individual performance. The battle of athletes rowing in the same boat, with the same rhythm, and toward the same goal will offer spectators high-tempo racing excitement.
