In the healthcare sector, one of the areas with the highest potential for social benefit, quantum computing offers revolutionary innovations. In this context, the integration of quantum technologies into healthcare has great potential in solving complex problems such as organ transplantation and donor-recipient matching optimization. With quantum computing, these processes can become more efficient and effective.
TEKNOFEST Quantum Hackathon Competition aims to bring together young engineer candidates to introduce the practical applications of quantum computing technologies and raise awareness in this field. The competition aims for participants to develop innovative solutions for lung donor matching using quantum computing techniques. The competition is open to university students (including undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and open education) and graduates studying in Turkey and abroad. The first prize will be 150,000 TL, the second prize will be 120,000 TL and the third prize will be 100,000 TL. This broad participant profile provides an excellent opportunity to promote and raise awareness of the practical applications of quantum computing technologies.
The competition will enable young people to gain knowledge in the field of quantum computing, improve themselves by putting this knowledge into practice and network with each other. At the same time, it will contribute to the formation and publicization of quantum awareness.
