Dear Contestant Candidates;
Considered among the priority areas of TEKNOFEST, the world's largest space, aviation and technology event, of which TÜBA is a stakeholder;

1- Technology and Design (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Autonomous Systems, Robotic and Mechatronic Systems, Modeling and Simulation Technologies, Energy, Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies, Technologies for Air, Space and Unmanned Underwater Systems),
2- Information and Communication Technologies (including Cyber ​​Security and Cryptology),
3- In the fields of Education, Health, Agriculture and Ecology Technologies and Biotechnology;
4- In the field of Social Sciences, which includes the subjects of International Relations, Development Policies, Educational Approaches, Security Policies of the National Technology Movement; “TÜBA-TEKNOFEST Doctoral Science Award” was established in order to reward doctoral theses produced from our country.

Authors of YÖK doctoral dissertations, which include topics related to the thematic program announced annually by TÜBA for TEKNOFEST competition areas, can apply individually for this award. Applications will be made digitally. In addition, applications can be made by the candidates themselves, as well as suggestions can be made by TÜBA Members, YÖK, TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB and University Rectors.

Within the scope of the award, doctoral dissertations made on the subjects that are among the priority areas of TEKNOFEST will be evaluated through scientific evaluation processes, and the thesis author for the first place is awarded 50,000 Turkish Liras, the second 40,000 Turkish Liras and the third 30,000 Turkish Liras.
