Projects that Increase Social Benefit are Expected
The Social Innovation Competition will be organized in three main categories: Lifelong Learning, Community and Security, and will focus on projects that aim to reduce social inequalities and improve living standards. Participants will be able to enter the competition with innovative projects that improve living conditions, create social benefits and encourage the active participation of individuals in society.
All primary, secondary, high school (including Open Education) and university students (including Bachelor's, Associate's, Master's, Doctorate and Open Education) and graduates studying in Turkey, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and abroad can participate in the Social Innovation Competition. Participants can apply individually or form teams of up to 6 people to participate in the competition. The Social Innovation Competition encourages participants of all ages to develop creative solutions to social challenges, while offering young people not only the chance to win prizes, but also the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to society.
As in all technology competitions, TEKNOFEST offers special prizes for different education levels in the Social Innovation Competition. The first prize winners at the primary school level will receive 50 thousand TL, the second prize winners will receive 40 thousand TL, and the third prize winners will receive 30 thousand TL. In the middle school category, the first place winners will be awarded 60 thousand TL, the second place winners 50 thousand TL and the third place winners 40 thousand TL. The first prize for high school winners is 70 thousand TL, the second prize is 60 thousand TL and the third prize is 50 thousand TL. The first winners competing in the university and above category will be awarded 80 thousand TL, the second winners 70 thousand TL, and the third winners 60 thousand TL.
