TEKNOFEST Tourism Technologies Competition Seeks Innovative Projects
This year, the “Tourism Technologies Competition,” organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, invites all high school and university students and graduates from Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), as well as from Turkey and abroad, to share their innovative ideas. The competition aims to contribute to the sustainable development of our country in the field of culture and tourism by bringing together our cultural heritage and tourism potential with smart information technologies.

Competition Combining Cultural Heritage with Technology
The competition offers participants the opportunity to design projects that will make Turkey's and TRNC's cultural heritage more accessible, while also aiming to bring out innovative ideas that will accelerate digital transformation in the tourism sector. Aiming to carry the cultural richness and tourism potential of Turkey and TRNC further, this competition supports projects that aim to add value to the culture and tourism sector both locally and internationally with technology-oriented creative projects.
In the competition, which will be organized in two main categories, the first prize at the high school level will be 70 thousand TL, the second prize will be 60 thousand TL, and the third prize will be 50 thousand TL. At the university and above level, the first prize will be 80 thousand TL, the second prize will be 70 thousand TL, and the third prize will be 60 thousand TL.
The application period for the competition, which brings together all young people who want to contribute to the digital transformation of the culture and tourism sector and sign the tourism projects of the future, ends on January 15.
