Last year, 1,309 teams and 4,020 students applied to the DENEYAP Makeathon organized at TEKNOFEST 2024. The almost 3-fold increase in the number of applications in 2025 is the best indicator that the interest and competencies of young people in producing technology are developing rapidly. Organized for the third time this year, this exciting competition will be a unique challenge to discover the technology leaders of the future and encourage them to produce innovative projects. At DENEYAP Makeathon, where innovative ideas meet technology, problem-solving skills are tested, teamwork and engineering skills come to the fore, the Technology Stars of the Future will have the opportunity to develop their projects by producing solutions within a limited time frame within the framework of the determined themes.
Center of Technology and Innovation: DENEYAP Makeathon
In 131 DENEYAP Technology Workshops in 81 provinces, middle and high school students and graduates will come together in this great challenge. Technology-savvy young people will reveal their talents by developing innovative ideas in line with the determined theme and present their projects in front of the jury. In this innovation and productivity-oriented competition, participants will showcase not only their knowledge and skills, but also their problem-solving abilities. Projects that stand out from their competitors with creative and original solutions will be evaluated by the jury and the most successful teams will win the grand prizes. The best projects will be selected among the finalists and the winning teams will be crowned with a total of 360 thousand TL prize. Not only the contestants, but also everyone who wants to shape the technology of the future will be inspired by this event.
