New Generation Technologies Compete at TEKNOFEST for the Technology for Humanity

In the competition organized under the leadership of AFAD within the scope of TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival, the participants are expected to reveal applicable projects with innovation and technological developments in every field affecting human life. The competition is organized in 3 different categories: healthcare and first aid, disaster management and social innovation.

The competition’s primary goals include solvingthe problems related to healthcare and first aid, disaster management and social awareness in technologically and economically disadvantaged regions, producingstudies to facilitate life in these regions, and implementingtechnologies with original and national resources.

All primary, secondary school, high school (including open education) and university students (including undergraduate, associate degree, , master's, doctorate and open education) and graduates who study in Türkiye and abroad can participate in the competition, where the projects that will reveal the social potential of technology will be evaluated on the basis of benefit and convenience to the society. In the competition, whose application date will end on February 20, a total of 1 million 170 thousand TRY prize will be provided at 3 different  levels and categories.

Our young people, who turn their projects into enterprises by participating in Technology for Humanity, impress with their original works. KODGEM, which is a finalist in  Healthcare and First Aid Category for Technology for Humanity at 2021 TEKNOFEST, has developed devices and applications that improve office workers’ quality of life, have healthy a posture with wearable technologies and do regular exercises. TEKNOFEST StartupProgram’s runner-up 2. KODGEM, which is also a Term Graduate, has earned more than 500,000 TRY by exporting to 21 countries. KODGEM, which has completed its work on new products, will take part in CES, the world's largest consumer electronics fair to be held in Las Vegas, USA on January 9-12, 2024, and introduce its products.
