The competition plays a critical role in the development and production of artificial intelligence technologies and offers a great opportunity for the technological future and competitiveness of our country. This prestigious competition, which aims to produce innovative solutions to problems that may be encountered in the aviation industry, is also organised to increase knowledge and train qualified human resources. Applications for the competition will close on 20 February.
This competition, which is a big step towards strengthening Türkiye's independence in the field of aviation and technology, will bring together technology enthusiasts and young talents.
Artificial Intelligence in Aviation Competition is open to high school and university students (including Bachelor's, Associate's, Master's, Doctorate and Open Education) and graduates in teams. Participants who will compete in teams of at least 2 and at most 5 people will be subjected to an evaluation process consisting of three stages. Competitors will first complete the Preliminary Design Report (PDR) stage, then showcase their skills in the Online Competition Simulation and finally make their final presentations. Details about the reports to be prepared by the competitors will be announced on the official website of TEKNOFEST at a later date.
Big prizes await the winning teams.
The first team in the competition will win 200 thousand TRY, the second team 175 thousand TRY, and the third team 150 thousand TRY. However, the competition offers much more than prizes. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know the sector closely with technical trips organised to Türkiye's leading technology companies. During TEKNOFEST, they will be able to create a wide network by meeting experts in different fields, and they will be able to obtain important information about professional life from expert engineers within the scope of career information. They will also have the opportunity to attend meetings where they will be inspired by the leaders of the technology world.
The teams that are successful in the competition will be provided with the necessary material support for their projects, and the finalists will be provided with transport and accommodation support. In addition, the finalists will receive project development training in a specially organised training camp and will have the opportunity to do internships in Türkiye's leading technology institutions. Participation in international competitions and support within the scope of the National Teams of Technology Support Program are among the important advantages offered by this competition.
