The main goal of the competition is to simulate air-to-air and air-to-ground combat scenarios between unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), giving young participants hands-on experience and preparing skilled individuals for the industry. Competitors will enhance their technical knowledge while contributing to the future of defense technologies. They are expected to complete two key missions: the "Combat UAV" mission, involving aerial combat scenarios with rival UAVs, and the "Kamikaze UAV" mission, requiring autonomous targeting and destruction of specific objectives.

The competition is open to high school and university students, as well as graduates. Teams can consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 15 members. Graduate-level applications can be submitted by companies or startups. The application deadline is February 20, and the total prize pool for the competition is 1.2 million TL. Participants who excel in TEKNOFEST technology competitions will not only win significant cash prizes but also gain material support and the chance to join programs that contribute to their personal and professional growth.
 

TEKNOFEST offers participants various advantages, including technical tours to Türkiye’s leading technology companies, networking opportunities with industry experts, one-on-one career guidance from specialized engineers, and motivational sessions with technology leaders. Teams that advance through the competition stages receive material support, while finalists are provided with transportation, accommodation, special project training camps, internship opportunities at top technology organizations in Türkiye, and the chance to participate in international competitions through the National Teams Support Program.
