Providing a major opportunity for young minds eager to shape the future of defense technologies, this competition will bring innovative ideas together to contribute to the country’s defense capabilities. The competition is open to higher education students (associate, undergraduate, and graduate) from Türkiye and abroad. Teams must consist of at least three and at most fifteen members.
The Importance of Air Defense Systems
Air defense systems are one of the key components of modern military strategies. Playing a critical role in ensuring national security, these systems serve as a defense mechanism against a wide range of threats. In recent years, the growing significance of air defense systems in national security has been further emphasized. Along with the strength of air fleets, the need for highly capable and well-equipped air defense systems is increasingly highlighted on the international stage.
Within this framework, the competition challenges teams to design and develop successful air defense systems based on given scenarios. The Air Defense Systems Competition also aims to create a broad foundation for the development of original and domestically produced systems across the country.
The competition not only contributes to the advancement of the defense industry but also provides young talents with a platform to shape the technologies of the future through innovative ideas. The winning team will receive a first-place prize of 250,000 TRY, the second-place team will be awarded 200,000 TRY, and the third-place team will be granted 150,000 TRY.
