About the Competition
TravelX Ideathon Competition is organised within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions, teams to develop new innovative ideas and to turn the business ideas they develop into projects and to be innovation-oriented, high technology value, commercial value, marketable projects.
Competitors will be able to participate in the competition in teams of at least 2 and at most 4 people. High school students, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, doctoral students and/or graduates from any field can apply to the competition.
2024 TravelX Ideathon consists of two stages:
- Bootcamp Process: In the Bootcamp phase, competitors will receive comprehensive training on entrepreneurship, presentation techniques and the latest technologies, and will also participate in workshops. They will have the opportunity to present their projects by maturing their ideas with the feedback they will receive from Turkish Airlines and ecosystem mentors.
- Final Process:The teams determined after the bootcamp phase will be taken to TEKNOFEST Adana for their final presentations. The award ceremony and presentation will take place at TEKNOFEST Adana.
Contestants can develop their ideas by focusing on the following themes specific to technology verticals such as generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), blockchain, machine learning, NFT, augmented reality/virtual reality/extended reality (AR/VR/XR) and metaverse:
- Travel, Aviation and Cargo Planning & Operations
- Travelling Passenger Experience
- Sustainability and Social Responsibility in Aviation
- Digitalisation in Sales and Marketing Channels
