TEKNOFEST Artificial Intelligence Movie Competition | TEKNOFEST

About the Competition

The primary objective of the Artificial Intelligence Movie Competition is to encourage the development of innovative and original short films by utilizing generative artificial intelligence technologies, while enabling participants to combine technology with creative storytelling and produce works that emphasize social benefit and ethical values.

Within the scope of the competition, participants are expected to develop an original short film based on the theme "The Human Factor in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" by making use of generative AI tools. The competition process begins with the submission of a Project Proposal Report and a synopsis presenting the main idea and narrative approach of the film. Teams that successfully pass the preliminary evaluation, they will use Gemini and Veo 3 generative AI tools to further develop their scripts and produce an original short film with a duration of 2 to 5 minutes.

The competition is open to Turkish citizens who are university students (associate, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and open education programs) or graduates. Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to four members.
