Swarm UAV Competition | TEKNOFEST

About the Competition

Swarm Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Swarm UAVs), one of the most critical technologies of the near future, are becoming increasingly important. Swarm UAVs are emerging as a technology that is increasingly needed in both civilian and military applications. The competition aims to understand how software algorithms for Swarm UAVs work in practice, explore the technology's potential in civilian and military applications, and encourage young talents in this field. Since Swarm UAVs have the potential to fundamentally change both our daily lives and defense strategies, this competition seeks to contribute to the development of this technology.

The Swarm UAV Competition aims to develop software and algorithms for UAVs that can complete designated tasks in a swarm. The success of these algorithms will be demonstrated through the use of Swarm UAVs under real-world conditions.

Associate, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students or graduates of universities studying in Türkiye and abroad can participate in the competition as a team. Competitors will be able to participate in teams of at least 3 and at most 10 people.             

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows;
  • Preliminary Design Report
  • Preliminary Evaluation Presentation
  • Critical Design Report
  • Flight Evidence and Software Evaluation Video
  • Final Competition
Templates for the reports to be prepared by the competitors will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website at a later date.

TEKNOFEST STARTUP PROGRAM
