International Children Science Competition

About the Competition


As part of TEKNOFEST 2025, the International Children Science Competition will be held for the first time this year.

The International Children Science Competition aims to increase students' interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, develop their creative thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills, and transform their knowledge into practical experiences. Another significant goal is to contribute to students' personal development, address societal needs, and promote the realization of original ideas that hold value for technological advancements and the balanced development of our world in social, economic, and environmental aspects for sustainability.

The TEKNOFEST International Children Science Competition will be held in three categories:
  • Nature, Environment, and Sustainability
  • Astronomy and Space
  • Healthy Life
The competition is open to all elementary school students studying in Turkiye or abroad. Participants can compete in teams of up to six members.

The competition will consist of the following evaluation stages:
  • Project Preliminary Evaluation Form
  • Project Presentation (Semi-Final) / Video
  • Prototype and Final Presentation
Templates for the reports that participants are required to prepare will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website at a later date.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
