About the Competition
The aim of the competition is to raise the awareness of high school students in the country on climate change, to guide them to the sustainable use of natural resources, to raise awareness in the society and to encourage students to produce solutions for the negative effects of climate change.
All high school students studying in Türkiye and TRNC can participate in the competition.
The evaluation process consists of 2 stages:
- First Stage Evaluation (Preliminary Review)
- Second Phase Evaluation
The competition consists of 6 main areas and 22 sub-areas; Biodiversity and Ecosystems, Land Use and Soil, Forest, Agriculture, Livestock, Industry, Transportation, Energy, Tourism, Air Pollution, Greenhouse Gases, It is organized in sub-areas such as Air Quality, Water Management, Drinking - Potable Water, Water Pollution, Future of Water, Ocean Acidification, Climate Resistance, Waste Management, Health and Quality Life, Urban Construction and Social Awareness.
