Fighter UAV Competition

About the Competition

The main purpose of the Fighter Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) competition is to create air-air and air-land fighter scenarios between UAVs in a controlled environment and to direct young people who can achieve success in this field in the future to related fields, to gain experience and to improve their skills. Each UAV participating in the competition will be in the air at the same time during the competition and will compete with each other.  The competition consists of two different missions, namely ‘Fighter UAV’ and ‘Kamikaze UAV’. 

Within the scope of the competition, teams are expected to perform autonomous take-off, autonomous flight, autonomous landing, autonomous lock-on and kamikaze missions.

High school, university students and graduates can participate in the competition as a team. Companies or initiatives at the graduate level can apply as a team. Competitors will be able to participate in teams of at least 3 and at most 15 people.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows;
  • Technical Qualification Form
  • Critical Design Report
  • System Identification Video with Flight-Pilot Evidence Video
  • Final Competition
Templates for the reports required to be prepared by participants will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website soon.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
