Environment and Energy Technologies Competition

About the Competition

The Environment and Energy Technologies Competition aims to promote the use of renewable energy sources and foster a culture of energy efficiency within society. It encourages the development of innovative and technological ideas by raising awareness of efficiency and environmental issues. The competition supports projects that focus on the efficient use of limited resources, aim to mitigate global warming, enhance societal well-being, and provide innovative, technological, economical, and environmentally sustainable solutions.
   
The TEKNOFEST Environment and Energy Technologies Competition will be held in two separate categories: the Environment Technologies Category and the Energy Technologies Category.

All university students and graduates studying in Türkiye and abroad can participate in the competition. Companies or initiatives at the graduate level can apply as a team. Competitors will be able to participate in teams of maximum 6 people.  
      
Primary school level teams developing projects in the field of Environment and Energy Technologies can participate in the International Science For Kids Competition.
High school level teams developing projects in the field of Environment and Energy Technologies can participate in the High School Students Climate Change Research Projects Competition.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows;
  • Project Preliminary Evaluation Form
  • Project Presentation (Semi-Final)
  • Prototype and Final Presentation 
 Templates for the reports required to be prepared by participants will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website soon.

On technical trips, people who have worked in technology companies have the opportunity to listen to their experiences and increase motivation.

MATERIAL SUPPORT OPPORTUNITY
In order to support the projects of thousands of young people, material support is provided to the teams that pass the stages determined for the competitions.

TRANSPORTATION / ACCOMODATION SUPPORT
Finalist teams are provided with transportation/accommodation support for TEKNOFEST competitions.

AWARDS
Prizes await the teams that compete in TEKNOFEST and qualify for the ranking.

EDUCATION

TRAINING CAMP PROGRAM
Training programs will be organized for the finalist teams with the participation of the executive institution and advisory board members.

Q&A MEETÇINGS
Teams with the participation of the executive and advisory board members Meetings where projects, evaluation criteria and processes can direct questions to the advisory board will be planned.
 

CAREER

INTERNSHIP
Internship opportunities in Turkey's technology institutions will be provided.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
