DeepMIA team was founded in 2019 at Bogazici Univesity Institute of Biomedical Engineering by Dr. Mehmet Turan to develop AI-powered medical robots to enable patient-specific teleoperation, rehabilitation, drug delivery, biopsy, surgical interventions, multimodal fusion algorithms for combining information from multiple imaging modalities, familial and patient histories to achieve more precise diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic determinations.
