International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races

About the Competition

The aim of the competition is to promote the use of alternative and clean energy sources, provide technical and vocational experience in the automotive sector, impart teamwork skills to students, and contribute to the development of human resources for electric vehicle advancements in the country.

Within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2025, it is organised within the framework of 10 different rule booklets and each booklet contains detailed information on different stages and technical requirements of the competition process.

Associate and undergraduate students in Turkey and abroad can apply as a team. During the application process, the team must include an Advisor, a Driver, a Reserve Driver, and a Team Captain.Teams consist of a minimum of 5 (five) and a maximum of 25 (twenty-five) people, including the advisor and team captain. (This number includes the advisor.)

The competition consists of two categories: Electromobile and Hydromobile.
The competition evaluation stages are as follows:

In addition to performance awards, the competition also includes a Visual Design Award and a Special Jury Award. Furthermore, an additional award is granted for the acceleration race concept.
Considering the development trends of electric vehicles and technological advancements, a new ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) category and award has been introduced for the 2025 competition.

Teams with the participation of the executive and advisory board members Meetings where projects, evaluation criteria and processes can direct questions to the advisory board will be planned.

Internship opportunities in Turkey's technology institutions will be provided.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
