About the Competition

In parallel with developments in technology, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are continuously improving their operational capabilities and gaining more autonomy. In this context, the goal is to equip UAVs, which already have a high level of autonomy, with the ability to engage in dogfights similar to those conducted by fighter jets. Currently, UAVs, which have largely taken on observation activities worldwide from manned platforms, cannot approach human intelligence levels in areas such as high environmental awareness, decision-making ability, and planning capability in dynamic environments. Therefore, air-to-air combat maneuvers between UAVs can currently only be carried out with manned aircraft.

The main purpose of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) competition is to create a controlled environment for air-to-air combat scenarios among UAVs. This aims to guide and encourage young individuals towards relevant fields, providing them with experience and helping them develop their skills for potential success in this area in the future.

The competition is open to high school, university students, and graduates, who can participate individually or as a team. Teams should consist of a maximum of 15 members. Companies or initiatives can apply for the graduate level as a team.
