About the Competition
HACKMASTERS Competition is organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions.
HACKMASTERS is an international competition where participants' theoretical knowledge and practical application skills in the field of cyber security are measured. The competition evaluates skills in areas such as cryptography, reverse engineering, malware, web security, forensics, open source intelligence, mobile security, IoT security and artificial intelligence. Participants will demonstrate their competences on cyber incident scenarios that can be encountered in real life.
Competition stages and process:
-Teams will consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.
-All stages of the competition will be held in Turkish. However, foreign language content may also be available in the resources.
The semi-final stage will be held on Friday, 9 August 2024 at 16:00 on a cloud-based online Jeopardy CTF format with different difficulty levels.
Semi-final questions can be solved with team members or individually, and will be entered into the system by the Team Captain on behalf of the team.
The first 10 successful teams in the semi-final stage will be invited to the final stage, which will take place on 7-8 September 2024 with physical participation.
- In the final stage, competitors will analyse and solve original cyber incident scenarios prepared in various topics and difficulty levels. As a result of the evaluation of the technical committee of the competition, the first three teams that make the most progress in the fastest time will be awarded.
