Agricultural UGV Competition aims to encourage the development of agricultural technologies using unmanned ground vehicles. The competitors are expected to develop projects to increase productivity in agriculture with ground robotic vehicles, and discover the contributions of autonomy to agriculture.
The primary area of concern in this competition is weed control in agriculture, and therefore, the projects to be developed are expected to address the issue of weed control.
The scope includes all aspects of an unmanned agricultural robotic vehicle project, from design to production and post-implementation review. The competition represents various properties of real life systems such as fulfilling communication requirements, creating an autonomous design and developing a multi-disciplinary system.
The UGV (unmanned ground vehicle) to be designed as part of the Agricultural UGV Competition is an autonomous robotic system that is capable of error-free navigation in the field of agriculture can perform tasks to increase productivity in agriculture, and display all task-related data on an interface.
