The TravelX Ideathon Competition aims to encourage teams to develop new innovative ideas and to turn the business ideas they develop into projects that are innovation-oriented, have high technology value, have commercial value and can be marketed. Applications can be made in teams of at least 2 and at most 4 people.
The TravelX Ideathon, which will include high school students, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, doctoral students and/or graduates from all fields, consists of two stages as Bootcamp and Final Processes.
During the Bootcamp Process, competitors will receive comprehensive training on entrepreneurship, presentation techniques and the latest technologies, and will also participate in workshops. They will also have the opportunity to present their projects by maturing their ideas with the feedback they will receive from Turkish Airlines and ecosystem mentors. In the second stage, the Final Process, the teams determined after the Bootcamp will meet at TEKNOFEST Mediterranean for their final presentations.
Competitors will be able to develop their ideas by focusing on the themes of Travel, Aviation, Cargo Planning & Operations, Passenger Experience in Travel, Sustainability and Social Responsibility in Aviation, Digitalization in Sales and Marketing Channels, and Digitalization in Sales and Marketing Channels, which are specific to technology verticals such as Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), blockchain, machine learning, NFT, augmented reality/virtual reality/extended reality (AR/VR/XR) and metaverse.
In the TravelX Ideathon competition organized for the first time within the scope of TEKNOFEST, THY will award 90 thousand miles to the first place, 60 thousand miles to the second place and 30 thousand miles to the third place, separately for each team member.
